This is a new Caravan & Camping Club campsite. I think you have to be a member of the club to stay. It's a flat field with 2 hook ups and only accepts 5 or so caravans/campervans and a few tents. It's in a lovely spot (not too far for visiting Fountains Abbey & The Forbidden Corner - as we did), really nice and the owners made a really big effort to introduce themselves and point out that they want to do everything they can to make it a great site.

There's 1 toilet (mixed) and 1 shower but they were both immaculate while we were there. The owners visit regularly and live close by.

There's a horse at the bottom of the field to keep children entertained, pigs just outside the camping field, lovely plants and fresh eggs (you pay using the honesty box) and a really nice village you can wander into. Our 3 children had a lovely time. The campsite felt really safe and they could zoom around on their scooters and mix with the other children without us being worried about losing sight of them or there being too much traffic.

We just wish this site was a bit closer so we could use it more often!

Telephone number is 01677 424353 or 07866 586160.
