Looking for campsite near to Olympics

Post by Simon Jones » Sun Jul 29, 2012 5:14 pm

Had a great day at Olympics yesterday and hoping to get back on Sunday 12th for the closing ceremony. As it finishes at midnight, getting a train home / back to outskirts is not practical. Thinking of spending the night in the van, but not surprisingly, not many campsites in London, or that are available. Anyone know of anywhere in the general vicinity that is within the M25 that I could try? Alternatively, anyone got a space on their driveway

Don't know of any near enough to where the games are being held. We don't have a drive or we would have offered you park in the drive. An alternative is you just park out a bit on a normal side road and take the tube in and sleep in your van on the road. I could advise you off roads in safe area if it helps

Try your luck with this one, it is out in the country yet only a few miles from the Olympic Park and not far from where I used to live.
