Right on the shore of Loch Dunvegan.

Lots of space, excellent toilets & showers.

We got a pitch right on the loch edge and some of the sunsets were fantastic.
Enough breeze to keep the midges away.

There's an amazing outdoor wear shop in a modern 'shop' development where the touris office used to be (signs still there).
It also contains a load of military memorabilia and the owner is very entertaining.

Make sure and visit the coral beach nearby. Thoroughly recommended!
Freda now gone, :-/ But nice wee Burstner obtained ;-)

Yeah this is a good site just across the bay from the McLeod Tables, steep twisting entrance though but no problem for a Bongo. We stopped there in 2007 on our way back from the Western Island but no doubt there have been further improvements since then. Been around Dunvegan a few times and even spent a week in the castle cottages, Well my sister did marry a McLeod and we took my late brother in law's ashes up there to scatter them on McLeod land.
