Hi.
We currently camp lots and our favourite place charges twice the amount for a motorhome and awning as it does for tent and car (despite using exactly same space)
As my bongo is unconverted and i'm using my old tent as an awning what do you think I should book in as?
motorhome or tent booking?

motorhome or tent booking?
Are we human, or are we campers?
Re: motorhome or tent booking?
Ah, yes, we've been here a few times.
Book as a car and tent, keep a copy of the V5 with you to prove Bongy is a car, and then argue.
One of the joys of Bongoness is it will be whatever you wish on the day, no tents - its a camper, no campers - its a car...

Re: motorhome or tent booking?
I usually book for a pitch for small VW size camper van with driveway awning (sometimes easier than having to explain what a Bongo is). If you get into the motorhome vs car debate, just tell them it has a smaller footprint than a Mondeo. My V5 shows it listed as 'motorcaravan', but that was how the importers registered it.
