St. Ives/Hayle - Atlantic Coast Holiday Park

Just wanted to share my recommendation and experience of this site.

First camping trip away in Jeremy and although the weather was awful, I thought the campsite was brilliant.

£21.50 a night for a huge pitch with EHU and water pump. Pitch was enclosed by bushes too although these did not act too well as a wind break!

A 15 minute walk over some incredible sand dunes and you get to the very vast, exposed beach that is Hayle. Lots of rabbits and birds of prey. Frogs too. Hardly anyone in sight except for the three kite surfers in the sea :)

Staff were incredible. Allowed me to pick up information/toilet keys late (8pm) on the Friday evening even though all of the staff had gone home.

Ideal for new campers that are using unconverted Bongos. Kettle, microwave, fridge and freezer on site. Home made bread, cakes and other items in the shop too.

Recommended.
