I'm from Gloucester matey...Been that way dozens of times. North Cotswolds are an absolute gem. Visit Bibury for the windrush river...feed the big trout from the bridge and play pooh sticks....go to the trout farm....Visit the medieval cottages at Bibury.....Cotswold Wildlife Park, fantastic place (they have a big colony of Army Ants) also alligators and a beautiful old male Lion. See the Meercats, I could go on and on, sorry. Just chill out...people are friendly, food is fantastic...and some of the best real ales in the South.
