That would be good Carl. Was originally planning to be down there earlier (late May/early June) to catch the peak time for basking sharks but, if we do get down there at all now this summer, it's likely to be some time post bash. Once I've got an op date, and a better idea of recovery timing (depends on whether it's a TURP, a TUIP, or whatever - for the medically knowledgable ), I'll be able to decide if bash booking and westward continuation will be viable. I suspect the hookups have gone, but should be space otherwise.
Non-hookups can be booked online, otherwise you need to call the Bongomeister.

Hi, who do I need to contact for booking? As a newbie, not sure how to go about this. Bit far away, but think we might go up just for one night, maybe two.
Does anyone know for dates of meets down in the South?
Thanks

We will be there from about lunch on the Saturday to the Sunday. Really looking forward to our first meeting - have read all the reports and sounds like we will be in for a good time.

Well...for the first time, I have booked a place, but only for friday and saturday nights. Hoping nothing will prevent me going (work sorted (ish) and van seems to be behaving after a few glitches). Wife and son cant come, so more space in the bongo for me and some red wine .
Even thinking about bringing a kayak for the river, but not sure if my mate is borrowing it yet.
Looking foward to putting a few more faces to names.

Hi Ed, It's great to see that you have managed to find time to attend the bash, I hope you got some inspiration at the Newbury show. Don't forget to bring any goodies that we had discussed.
