That's another for the hit list then   I appreciate the thought, but I much prefer lurking in the background with a cold Crabbies  (which were very much appreciated Tony :D & Baz & DBO & Chell & Ady  )

The Bongomeister's speach said it all.

Very well deserved, but we won't make a big fuss. (Congrats Kirsty =D> )

Tower of Power was in one of Frank Zappa's lyrics in "Joe's Garage" but I think it had a different meaning....................

Wrong album. It's from the track "Bobby Brown" on the "Sheikh Yerbouti" album.

He can take about an hour on the tower of power, as long as he gets a little golden shower....

Its so long ago (since I moved to Montana to raise me up a crop of dental floss) that I've forgotten, but did the name start with a band/brass section/whatever? Ah yes, I see it did:

http://www.towerofpower.com/

Maybe predating FZ? Can AndandDen (as longstanding soul fans) can shed light I wonder, if we are allowed to remain off thread

All I know is TofP is deeply embedded in my ageing brain :?
