Following a post in another part of the forum, would anyone be interested in a meeting in May?
It would be at the car park behind the ymca pool in st annes. Easy access as signe posted for pleasure island and its right on the front.

The council is aiming to open it up to motorhomes
On a trial to see how it goes. If successful they are talking about putting in water and electric points.
And letting people stay for three nights. While you are there you could use the ymca pool, the carvery is good, train cafe is good, mini golf, kids train, trampolines, cinema, and the beach. Ideas for dates welcome.

Doesnt this carpark get very busy?
If i remember, when i used to kitesurf round there we always used to head for this carpark and it was nay poss to park there,

Are you thinking of the same car park? Do you mean the one by the old sand yatch club?
The one I am thinking of is further down the front.

We used to try kitesurf if the wind was the right direction in st annes near the cafe but if the road was full which it normaly is in summer, we used to try at the baths, or the pub carpark
But most times they were full bloody typicle. Lol
Good location though for a swift half,
No mater where i will be coming.

Baths car park it is then. You can park at the front of the pub (salters wharf) too.
Just been pootling about and I have seen 3 bongos already. Any dated in mind then?

Your meet ,you pick the dates , Sundays are usually the best for most peeps.
