You won't be able to get them locally. They are only available in UK or Japan. But AVA Leisure will send you one, they mail to mainland Europe all the time. http://www.avaleisure.com.

Hi Zelkin,Just wondered if you are going to try and Spanish reg. your Bongo?
I live in France and have done for some years, on investigation I think it will be impossible to register the Bongo here.
I do have quite a lot of experience with registering other vehicles here but its dipping into very muddy waters and wondered about Spain.

You do not really need a back box on a diesel. It is only marginally louder without one .I have been running mine for nine months without one.
If you cannot have the old box welded up - - -
Get a length of flexi pipe from an exhaust fitter or ? (stainless is best but anything will do if it is cheaper ) ,and a chrome tip - attach pipe to chassis and chrome tip to one of the existing mountings and it will run just fine. If you feel the need you can always fit a back box later,or a full stainless system /alloy Izura when the whole lot packs up!

Maybe not such a good deal..... :(
Went to get the exhaust fitted today. Left the van for an hour with the garage (different from the supplier). Upon returning, the van was still on the ramps and only part of the exhaust had been fitted. It turns out that a section of it, is a bit too long and not quite bent to shape. The lads who are fitting it will be " making adjustments " tomorrow morning
so until then, I'm van less
