Coolant alarm wiring.

Post by Mountain » Sat Apr 24, 2010 12:51 pm

Hi,

Just fitting my coolant alarm and I've noticed the colour coding is not the same as in the instructions.

I have red/black and red wires. The instructions state red/black as positive and black as earth.

So which is which for red/black and red wires?
There is no black wire :|

PM Haydn Callow, he's at Southern Softies, but he's got wireless I think, I'll try & remember to ask him if I see him later.
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

Hi,
Should have been a "extra" instruction in the pack.
RED = Switched live
RED/BLACK = Earth
