Re: Do I need Rock Pegs?
Shouldn't need to as its all grass pitches and good earth there I think, but I'd keep them on board anyway (I do) so as not to be caught out (maybe if the earth is baked by drought etc?)Alison01326 wrote:Do I need to pack my rock pegs for the Bash?

You hardly even need a hammer just pushed mine in with my boot! I used a hammer on the tie down pegs for the awning as there a bit bigger

Re: Do I need Rock Pegs?
Are you speaking from experience, Geoff? Are you there already?
Mike - I think your Bongo may be bigger than mine. I'm trying to kick the "just in case" habit. I have already concluded that my Bongo shrunk in the night. Having said that, if we go to parts uncharted I take all sorts of "just in case" items so I hope my Bongo grows a bit before our Summer hols
See you both dreckly, as we say here

Don't think you'll need rock pegs Alison, good ground as Mike says.
I will say I tend to use only rock pegs when I'm Bongoing as he doesn't mind the weight (very different matter if I'm cycle camping or hiking) and that way you only need one set of pegs, no Just In Case.

Last year I just attatched my awning to Bob.

Cheaper to buy pegs than provide that amount of cider.
Explains why it was so difficult to get into the loo.

Yes we are here! Along with about 60-80 others, the ground is quite reasonable, but probably getting harder but not a lot.Alison01326 wrote:Are you speaking from experience, Geoff? Are you there already?
