hi,
just before we left home for the bash on friday i noticed a coolant leak from the top of the radiator.after topping up slightly and checking more frequently than usual,i managed to get to and from the bash with no problems at all.in fact, although i had lost a small amount of coolant from the level in the header tank, when i removed the radiator cap after the engine had cooled, the level was right up to the brim of the cap.it`s only a small seep from the top of the rad,but im looking ahead to getting a new radiator before any long trips later in summer.
i went on lush projects for both 2.5td and 2.5 v6 and all the part numbers seemed to match up.
can anyone confirm or otherwise whether the radiators are identical on the diesel and petrol?i will happily buy from the club shop if i have to,but i do like to shop around.
thanks
jamie

Re: v6 radiator same as the diesel?
The V6 is fitted with the same radiator as the diesel, some new rads have a vent at the top which needs to be blanked off.
there is a recent thread on the forum which I can't find at the moment. Hope this helps!

The radiator will always be "brim" full untill the Header tank is dry....the rad is constantly fed from the header tankhogggman wrote:hi,
