How to adjust mileage?

Post by Sharkojoints » Thu Sep 02, 2010 8:03 pm

I found myself a new Mazda 626 GA5R speedo in the scrappies today, but I can't figure out how to clock the speedo to the correct mileage for my Bongo.

I'm sure I read somewhere about someone doing this with a narrow screwdriver, but having had a play with it I can't see how the drums will rotate freely in any way. #-o

Anyone any thoughts please?

Place a small screw driver between the dials and gently prise them apart they should then rotate freely start from one side and work accross I cant remember which
