Had an interesting time there, some really dedicated volunteers have done a brilliant job preserving mill engines.
Now for a rant.
They have been refused a grant from the lottery fund, Bolton council wouldn't even support their application. What's wrong with these people, the north west was built on the industrial revolution but they are happy for our history to disappear.
Makes you proud to be British don't it..........................

Agreed. The ultimate price of capitalism is that unless it produces the dollar, it dies. Whatever the greater cost is irrelevant & very very sad.
