Why this bulb????

Ok guys this is the buld and strange holder in my RH back light cluster its the reversing lamp why not normal like the other side? many thanks Barrington,

it looks like a bleeper
I have one on my van I replaced it as its supposed to bleep when on IE reversing

No not for tow bar should beep when reversing unless the wiring has been modded

Your towbar shouldn't have a reversing beeper, just an "indicating while going in either direction with the trailer board connected" beeper.

Yes sorry thats what i ment

inside the bumper the towbar guy fitted a round black beeper that sounds when the electrics are hooked up from the trailer that sounds when indicating, separate than the new found beeper on the reversing lights
