Hi all. I've fitted a Haydn Coolant alarm (type 2 I think) plugs into the cigarette lighter. I've just noticed that with the engine running if I press the AFT roof button a very short blip sounds from the Haydn alarm. Do you think this is an indicator of some short to earth in the AFT circuit?
Ps. the AFT does open and close ok but needs a helping hand for the final centimeter on the lift.

No I think you will find that it just indicates that the voltage drops slightly when the AFT is first operated, you will probably find that the Coolant Alarm comes of the same power feed and hence the voltage just dips a little, you might check where the power from the coolant alarm is picked up from and clean the fuse connections which might be a little corroded possibly.

Just realised you say its plugged into the cigar circuit so that fuse above is the one to check.

I had this on one. I cleaned the screw in the expansion tank. That solved it, no problem since. May your fix be as simple!
