Tailgate lights - facelift model

I seem to have water in one of the white lenses on the tailgate (the ones actually on the tailgate). How do i get to them? There must be a way because the red lenses on the tailgate are actually tail lights. I had a look at it and there doesn't seem to be an easy way.

the white lenses are sealed/glued on they do not remove. best way is to drill a small hole at the bottom of the lens to let the water out.

I'd rather drill a hole in the back but how do I get to them? You must be able to get to the red ones to change the bulbs

I had the same thing not long ago so I ended up removing the panel and drilling a couple of holes in each. I can't remember but there were about a dozen fixings in various places before panel could be removed, if you remove the inner door panel you will gain access to all fixings including the lock which has to be loosened to enable removal of panel. What I did was to remove what I thought was all fixings and try to prise the panel away and where there was resistance there was another fixing to remove and eventually the panel did come away in one piece.

I managed to just remove the two outer bottom twist locks of the rear panel, prised the panel from the tailgate by about an inch, then carefully drilled a 2mm hole underneath the clear lens section of each cluster... They do still take on condensation, but at least now they aren't swishing with water!

Now disguised with fly eyes tinting film... If you can't fix it, cover it!

It's actually the one in the door that I can't get to. The white one is full of water but I also want to know how to replace the bulb in the red one should I have the need to. I thought the manual might tell me but it doesn't have anything about changing bulbs in it.
