bongo specialist needed - northern ireland

Post by shanzaboy » Fri Apr 15, 2011 1:05 pm

hi - after a rough winter the roof will not go up on the beloved bongo.....

tried all the usual accessed fixes...handbreak, fuses etc and have got to putting 12v across the red and blue wires going to the roof motors but still no movement, so i think it may be time for a roof removal.

So does anyone know of any good bongo specialists in and around Belfast?

thanks in advance

If you can't find someone local you could try and find a good local mechanic with a hoist on their premises (and roof height sufficient to take a Bongo with raised roof, and see if they might look at it after phoning and speaking with Adrian at Japan Direct in Bury on 0161-763-3003 (from memroy but google it) as he has fixed several roofs (mine, twice) and could brief them on what to do Iget them to say Mike said he might be able to help). N. Ireland coud do with cultivating one or two mechanics in the special issues with Bongos, as I can't recall anyone mentioning a spcialist over there.

You'd think so.....but then that's what someone once suggested about ordinary mechanics and bleeding Bongos properly :?
