breaking down.2l

Post by lee-jon » Mon Jun 20, 2011 1:32 pm

hi everybody,if anybody saw a white tin top on m25 between j5 and j6 on sat pm it was me!
me and the wife had just returned from honeymoon and were on way home when the bongo
gave a horrible death rattle then spilled its guts all over m25.
£150 later to remove it from motorway we then get told £500 to recover back to norwich.

moral is get full breakdown cover!
it may cost you a bit but its cheaper than independent recovery companys......!
and hindsight is a wonderfull thing.

any hows we are home eventually, and we now have a dead bongo, does anybody know of any other engine that is the same as the 2l petrol thats fitted????

any help greatly apreciated

at least i have a tan!!!!!!!!!!

I still wonder if it is cheaper in the log run to underwrite your own breakdown costs?

I have been giving various organisations money for over thirty years and only once needed them when I conked out as a delayed result of an alternator problem (the 'no charge' warning light didn't function with this particular fault).

That, however, was before I drove a high risk vehicle called a Bongo!
