V6 Petrol and Catalitic Converters - HELP!! T plate

Post by Jamieh » Thu Jul 14, 2011 5:16 pm

Hi

I have had a disaster today but had great help from the site owner.

Basically Partner travelled from Helston (Nr. Penzance) to Bristol Hospital. When she arrived the bongo had split its cat!!!

After some help I decided the other half should drive it home steadily....... Now the cat has disintegrated and blocked the whole exhaust system. Guess it must have been breaking up before now, hence why it split.

Anyway. I now have a broken bongo in Bristol and my lass on the train to sunny Cornwall... I have made a few phone calls and have been told that you cannot get a new cat any more UGH!!!!!!!

Can any one please help and advise of any compatible parts.

The other issue I have is we are moving home also, so might not get straight back to any replies. Not being rude just no broadband at new house yet.

Some are part weld ..... one to fit would be the nearest to the exhaust pipe size...

This Might do too..... won't hurt a phone call...
