Quick googling tells me: 80 km/h = 50 mph.

You can apply for an exemption to do 100 km/h (62 mph), but that's complicated and has to be done well in advance.

S l o w l y does it, eh?

There are signs up with speed regulations for car or lorry/caravans from what I remember, I saw plenty (LOTS of them!!!) of motorhomes & trailers as it is summer season, The trailers were going faster than me LOL. Not a definitive answer I know but the fact there is plenty of signs thought that might ease your stress :)

Thanks, not much slower than we would normally go anyway as we tend to cruise about 60. I am now chilled (at least my wine is) and mellow and ready and packed and champing at the bit!
