REAR BRAKE PADS MAZDA BONGO V6 PETROL 1996

HI ALL
can anyone help with my problem

i need rear pads for my v6 but when i look around there doesn't seem to be a lot for the v6 on this year, are these the same as the 2.5td of the same year? i don't want to order some to find once i've stripped it down to be the wrong ones, then have to send them back.

According to the Bongo Shop, they fit all Bongos. Seems to cover it

just another quick quest does the handbrake work off the rear calipers or does it have in board shoes within the rear disc ?

I got mine a couple of year back from a local backstreet factor, same as the the diesal bongo/b2500 i think cost me £13.

I went for the EBC pads, seem to be much less crud comes off them than the crappy apecs I got from the motor factor & seemed to be a bit more responsive.

hi all, i ordered some off the bongo web site and they have just arrived £35.00 with postage not a bad price, they seem ok the make are Solid Ace. not heard of them before but will give them a wirl and see how i go on. the pads themselves seem a decent quality.

afternoon all

just let you all know just in case somebody else is not sure, the rear pads fit perfect. a really easy job to do to.

i also had an annoying rattle from the back end which prompted me to change the pads while i had it in bits. it turns out the rattle was the rear brake shim which was loose in the carrier so not only did i manage to do a brake service (including cleaning the hanbrake shoes up)i got rid of a rattle "smashing". job well done
