The light does not work, have checked the bulb on a multimeter & its ok. Tried to test if there was any power through to the switch but nothing(this could be because I don`t know how to fly the meter properly)
Where is the connection block for the light so can check if loose, would the light be on a seperate fuse if so which one & where? All other cabin lights are working ok, is this a common fault with the AFT light.

Re: AFT Interior Light
Just a thought: I seem to recall it only works when the roof is up.
Re: AFT Interior Light
Yes that's true and if it still doesn't work there is a microswitch that switches when the roof is up so suspect that could be the problem. Use the search facility because somewhere there is a thread that tells you where the switch is.
Re: AFT Interior Light
The switch on the light itself can be the problem. Contact cleaner sprayed on the switch contacts solved it in my case, but it did take a while for the cleaner to do its job.

Thanks for the responses, have found the link and will check the micro switch action and also clean the light contacts.
Re: AFT Interior Light
Its most likely the switch but yes it is on a separate fuse from the rest of the AFT;

its controlled both by a switch and a transistor in the module, to enable it to be switched off when the AFT is down;

The above diagram is also a little suspect I think they have the switch shown incorrectly, but haven't had a chance to check it out yet since drawing out the circuitry in the module.
