Can you actually see where its coming out of the cylinder head, is it defo the cylinder head or is it the rocker / cam cover ?

Are you sure it's coming from the cylinder head & not the rocker cover gasket (may need replacing or may just need nipping up), or the air inlet manifold joint, the fuel pump or the steerring rack (& blowinig back)? Clean it all off & check where it's coming from, could be it's nowt to worry about, a lot of bongos have a little bit of oil in this area, more do than don't
Are you using a lot of engine oil?
You can't polish a turd - but you can roll it in glitter.

I've just taken another look at it and it appears to be coming from the bottom of cylinder head at the front of the engine, presume that this is close to the belts (cam/fan)

My van ( 2.5 diesel) was in last month for an oil leak and it was a faulty camshaft oil seal it was quite a bad leak and was leaking down the front drivers side of the engine, a £4 seal cost me £280 to replace

Best thing to do is to get a 5 litre tin of brake and clutch cleaner and a spray bottle and give the engine a clean, just squirt the brake cleaner on and watch the crap run off this will give you a better idea of where the leak is.
