which fuse

which fuse is the interior lights, and does this fuse only control in the lights inside the van?

Fuse 1... Lights, Radio memory & for some strange reason the glow plug light flashes too when the fuse is removed when the engine is on....

thats a pain i what to take the fuse off the light but not the stereo.
any ideas other than taking out the blubs

Why do you want to isolate the interior lights?

i seem to have a power drain somewhere and i'm trying to find it, i heard that the light have a habit of this even when turned off, so i could take them out of the loop i can tell if its them or not.

It's only usually the middle flourescent type light that can cause the issue, only takes a few minutes to remove it.
Grip the sides of the plastic lens at the switch end firmly, squeeze & pull down to remove it, then you'll see 3 screws holding the fitment in place, undo those, then you can access the electrical connector behind, undo that, job done

Possibly not, as it could well be the transformer gubbins causing the issue, these pics may help, I cut all that rubbish out & fitted leds to reduce the current draw & potential for issues

This is how I connected it, Blue wire (live feed) moved across to the hole where the tube connector was desoldered, this is connected to the led positive, then the led negative is the wire snaking through t'other hole connected to the 3rd row or switch connectors, this allows the light to be used as on/door/off

This is what I used (cos I had it lying around anyway) 3m double sided tape holding it on, think I had to trim the length slightly (trim in lots of 3 "dimples") it was a 48cm strip I think, although any led replacement lights that physically fit in there would do the job, the blocks of 36 or 48 might do the job really nicely & they come with connectors so you can just plug/unplug

Possibly bright enough with the 1st attempt with only one strip, but as I had a longer strip I thought I'd try it. That's plenty bright enough for me I reckon

The red wire is the negative switched door switch (ie switching earth) the black wire is fixed earth.

It could also be the memory on yer radio...? depending on the type!

i have an apline head unit so its not some cheap unit from halfords, it is a usb head unit but i always unplug the usb stick when not in use, i have a couple of amps by the are all dead when the head unit is off.
