On the same topic - me and my lad are at an event at the National Cycling centre on 14-15th January. We need somewhere to park up and sleep overnight, no camping facilities needed at all.

I've noticed that there is some parking in front of Clayton Vale park which is nearby. Anybody know if we could sneak in to a parking spot there and not get hassled, would likely only be from 10pm to 7am?

ta for any help,
Jon
