Identification of Parts (WL-T)

Below is a low-res "Engine Bay (nearside)" view of my own 1996 WL-T 2.5TD AT AFT. Note: EGR pipe has been removed.

I've not seen anything like this for the Bongo, other than the fantastic set of diagrams we are lucky enough to have at http://lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/ . It's something I've been meaning to start for a while and I'm also working on the "Engine Bay (nearside)" and "Underbonnet" views. I hope that as they develop, they will prove useful to the Bongo community.

I intend to keep this and the other images up to date on the wiki at http://mazdabongo.wikispaces.com/Parts. Corrections, additions and contributions are all welcome. In particular, a set of underbody images to annotate would be very useful.

Love it, this will help a lot of peeps. How about a zoomed in shot of certain items. I could have helped last year when I undersealed/waxoiled the bottom of mine, seemed to spend weeks under the thing

Dunno if the pics of the atf sump and filter and the magnet to collect any metal debris are any use ,but by all means use them if you need to.

DBO - pics of ATF work are great - perhaps a wider angle shot is better for identification of parts, but could I use those pics on the ATF change write up on the wiki? I've not actually written it yet but crucially, I forgot to take any pictures when I did mine.

Lazyb5 - definitely some close-ups - I'm already thinking fuel pump, throttle, vacuum solenoids, etc... - any other ideas?

Fantastic, i've not seen anything like it before. One suggestion from me would be that it would be helpfull if you could cross reference the coolant hoses that you can see with the Lush project and Kirsty's list of coolant hoses. That would make it easier to identify particular hoses.

Centre console removed, picture top down - temperature sensor and grommet is visible there - also an opportunity to point out bolts for removing cowl, gear shift and handbrake.

Will add an "up and under" arrow on the offside view too, though. Cheers.
