if you get there by lunchtime you should be ok.

Re: Packhorse Farm, Matlock - Early February
Well I’m not sure this was a good idea but we managed to get back home without incident. Apparently the authorities are complaining that people didn’t heed the warnings issued and still went out shopping / partying / camping / all of these....
Ok, camp set up and Pom-Bears distributed....
....according to the old-girl on reception, this is an adult-only site
Hmmm, this snow they’ve been banging on about on the forecasts seems a bit dramatic....
....looks to be ok in the Peak District.....
....wait a minute....
....it’s getting thin....
“Is it cold?”
Better light the barbie....
Hmmmm, toasty!!
Don’t know what you lot are moaning about outside, it’s lovely in here!!
Several hours later – better have a peek outside – Whoops!! O_O
Oh well, if the butane bottle won’t vaporise enough liquid to do the bacon & eggs....
....I’ll settle for Pot Noodle for a “Breakfast-in-Bed for Champions”!!
Frozen Margarita anyone?
Anyone care for a seat?
Snow Angels anyone?
Aha, another volunteer
Team Muz prototype snow-depth gauge
Better make a snowman then!!

Some nice shots there, I didn't see any Heland Coos, only horses bleating about someone having hidden all their grass

It's one of those weekends you have planned and you go rain or shine. Or snowBongoplod wrote:10/10 to all of you for having the guts to do it!!
