Dirty French police !!

In all honesty you do get dodgy Police in any force. Whether they are told to boost the figures a bit or clamp down on such and such.

But in all honesty I've travelled through France over 200 times and never been stopped apart from once when we had Vegetable Oil in the engine and not diesel, and that was because the Policeman was interested in the smell and nothing happened apart from a nod and a wink and a try not to do that over here if you can.
