Zig unit marque 1 not working on leisure battery
Can anyone help got a new leisure battery this morning but fridge lights etc do not seem to work when switched to the leisure battery. This is the first trip interest bongo since purchase are their any fuses etc to check or a reset button?
Re: Zig unit marque 1 not working on leisure battery
There can be several fuses try;
1. The +ve lead on the L/B should have a fuse close to the terminal which feeds the Zig unit, the fuse will probably be at least 15 Amps possibly higher.
2. The 10 Amp fuse under the AUX switch (assuming that the fridge has been connected to the AUX switch) should be checked.
3. The fridge itself may have a fuse local to it that needs checking.

A bit of a long shot, but is your new leisure battery fully charged?
The reason I ask is on my Zig CF9, the fridge stops working when the leisure battery drops to a certain voltage (I think to stop the leisure battery being totally discharged)

What does the voltage meter indicate when you are switched to the L/B ? (Make sure the EHU is off as well should you be connected!)goa55 wrote:OK thanks have checked both 40amp fuses near post terminal they are OK as is 10amp aux the fridge and lights work fine on the car battery

Yes the leisure battery is brand new fully charged but not reading anything on voltmeter so I guess it must be between battery and zig unit is their. A solenoid somewhere?

Re: Zig unit marque 1 not working on leisure battery
You wouldn't expect any thing other than the fuse between L/B and Zig. I would suggest looking at the Zig unit end first and see if the connector on the switch is OK, if so then make sure the wire colour is the same between the connector and the fuse itself, check the connectors on the fuse as well.
