Scottish monthly meetings
Scottish monthly meetings
Ok guys ,lets get a location for a meeting, shall we start with a day meeting in April ,then we can really get the ball rolling,I see we've got a few more new members joined according to the new list Ian has posted,I think the strength of the ferry meeting shouldn't be allowed to cool off excuse the wording due to the weather!
Regards to you all
Sorry should have said second weekend in April?

Re: Scottish monthly meetings
Gordon,
First of all we need to decide if it's a weekend meet on a campsite or just a day meet as per the ferry. I'm ok for either.

Thought maybe just a day meet as at the end of that month a few thing are on ,was thinking possibly
Blairgowrie area?that would be a point for everybody to start things up?

How about a meet at Pitlochry next to the dam. It easy to get to and there is a good sized car park
Re: Scottish monthly meetings

Well both the AA and the RAC say that I have to drive a tad over 107 miles to get there. But the AA tell me that it will take me 2hrs 33 mins to get there while the RAC say that it wil take me 2hrs 12 minutes. Who do I believe.

If we let this post run till Friday 5th and all who favour the most voted location will be the decider and we could make the date either sat 13th or Sunday 14th? Unless other dates are more favourable
Re: Scottish monthly meetings
Pitlochry is good for us. Prefer a Saturday to a Sunday but whatever is decided should be ok.

We may just do an overnight stop-over so sat or sun for us.

Having attended the Forth Bridge meet we are disappointed we will not be able to join you at this one. We will still be in Pargue but hope to meet again during the Gairloch outing.
