Sky Insurance 2014

Post by skyinsurance » Tue Jan 28, 2014 5:48 pm

Hi All,

I am just popping some notes up on the forums to introduce myself - My name is Chris and I have taken over this role from my predecessor - looking after you and your insurance enquiries.

I have been working in Insurance for over 10 years in a multitude of different roles from Personal to Commercial Insurances and including the sales department here at Sky Insurance - I may have spoken to some of you before!

I have been asked to look after the company's media resources including the forums because of my passion of cars in my personal life - we all love to hear about the cars and so this is my car history:

'94 Peugeot 106 GTI
'96 Mk3 Golf GTI
'99 Subaru Impreza WRX STI Wagon
'94 Classic Shape Subaru WRX
'94 Twin Turbo Mk4 Supra (BPU'd)
'95 R33 GTST Skyline
'99 Saab 9-5 Aero
'00 Honda S2000
'96 Mitsubishi Evo 4 (Tommi Makinen Replica)
'99 Audi A6 Slammed

I'm going to do my very best to provide a strong presence on the forum and welcome not only insurance enquiries but any great ideas for internet content/stories/builds - Anything you might feel is relevant.

Obviously if you are looking for an insurance quote - contact us via the forum or using the following contact details:

Can we clarify that

a) Sky Insurance will insure grey imports; and
b) Sky Insurance will insure campervans?

They do exist but possibly just a bit of work trying to drum up calls etc?
The advertise properly on the micra forum.

I think this company has been advertising on this site for a number of years now.

QUOTE

Sky Insurance specialise in insurance for Japanese and modified cars but more especially for car club members. We are affiliated with 50+ UK based car clubs, we offer a 20% discount on insurance for any member of a club we are affiliated with, this now includes 'Bongofury'. (Nb: Sky do not cover converted vans where a kitchen is installed).

None the less I notice our friendly salesman has failed to address Ian's points, for all he spend his time on the Forums to help us.

Edit: For what it's worth a list of Prat Mobiles doesn't impress me.

Strange that no mention was made of the 20% discounts to affiliated club members. That would seem to have been a point worth bringing to everyones attention.

Hi Frank
"Slammed" is an American bit if slang for lowered (as you know know)....but I feel it's applicable here as in "door in the face", as I'll bet you a pound to a pinch of snuff that our pirate poster above won't get a single enquiry off this Forum , judging from the posts, and the unimpressive list of Manga Muppet cars.....or my name's Cruella DeVille
Cheers
Helen
