York Meet

Post by dreamwarrioruk » Thu Apr 17, 2014 12:09 pm

Ok guys,
The old members and regulars will know all about Goosewood caravan site and how I had organised a meeting there for a few years running, for reasons Im not going into we were barred from the site. However I was working there and spoke to the old old manager. He said we are most welcome back and the manager we had the issues with got the sack.

I want to see the interest before I book any pitches. Last one we had around 30 bongos to. Date wise Im looking for end of june/early july, cost is unclear but will try for a discount as previously had.

Ok its up to you lot now, just add your name if you want to join the fun.

Just watched the video, was it the suggestive balloons or the dodgy dancing that got you banned?

doh, forgot about that bike thing.
No it was a nocturnal event involving a lot of drunk people late at night making noise in a forest that got us banned, amongst other reasons. The manager was under the assumption that as she had seen ours, that all bongos had a full conversion and that's where people slept. We weren't allowed to have any tents up, its a touring site but someone came with a caravan (shocking) that wasn't allowed either. I think someone was "snoring" that kept half of the site awake as well especially after 10pm.

Anyone who knows the n/w/yorkshire lot know that we are all tucked up after 9pm with cocoa

Will be looking into dates suitable, prob will be after this bike thing happens. Should be ok after 7th of July as it moves down south to London.
