Presumably you are looking for a service interval of longer than 12 months? If it was me, I would still change the oil, oil filter and the air filter ever 12 months. It's peanuts in the grand scheme of things. :)

Install a low coolant alarm. If not, check your coolant level at least once a week.

I'd still do it at least once a year
I do about 4/5000
Change all me filters just before summer and engine oil at least
If not me gearbox oil as we'll
I get cheap oil so have been doing me engine oil after summer(after and before me most miles are done )
Gas safe heating engineer / plumber if you need any advice just shout.

The official oil change interval is 3000 miles with filter at 6000, but personally I would always change filter at same time as its not an expensive item.

Definitely change the oil every 6 months/3000 miles and service every year/6000 miles, whichever is FIRST.

Skimping on this really is false economy.

The 3000 mile is extremely important if you run 50 50% Veg oil. Sorry cant find reference right now.

I do mine every six months without fail, it still didn't stop my engine dropping a valve though.

3000 miles, wow thats short, I did hear that about diesels... hmm well I think it will do about 3K a year so fair do's.

And thats typically:

Oil filter
Oil
Air filter

Minus spark plugs of course as it is not petrol.

I have done my own car services before is the Freda much different or as easy ?

How often do glow plugs need to be changed and do you need to change fuel filters often with a diesel, I cannot recall ever doing that with a petrol engine ever ?
