Re: upwood 2014 xmas bash
either date is fine for me.But to clarify for others so if Pete and Harry have a prefference which is the same one that would put it up to six.
the steampunk weekend is going on in howarth 21st to 23rd November.

As you can see it involves a burlesque event on the friday night, boys that might be an idea for a theme if our 21 year old doesnt come up with one (rofl)
i can only imagine the bronte sisters will be turning in their graves.
psychic night is the sat 15th November -at Upwood, and also the weekend of the xmas fair in howarth.-pleasant stroll around the village with some nice foody stalls -chilli cheese sticks in my memory.
In favour of the early weekend is that it is less likely to be snowbound.
for anyone with kids who doesnt know, Haworth is also on the worth valley rail line -the station down from it being Oakworth where the railway children was filmed -not being a train spotter myself i havnt taken a lot of notice of this in previous years, but i took the boys on it last weekend -they really enjoyed it age range 2-10 -£35.00 for a familly rover ticket -or for a single return journey £11.00 for adults £5.50 for children under fives free.we did the return, which was plenty - 25 minutes each way i thought considering the price of other steam railways in the area it was a decent price and a fun day.
