Have you got AFT or tintop? The ebay aerial is suitable for the latter. Its also got some cracks on it.

The roof does raise but it does not loom like the ones on the parts list it does look like that one. Am after one without cracks or an alternative item

Have you got an aftermarket roof: manual lift rather than electric? You'd probably have to order one from Mazda or get Ian to source it as the one in the club shop will only fit van with an AFT.

its not a tin top its a manual lift roof not autolift..

If there is a way to maybe fix the cracks and renew the gasket that might fix the problem also

I'm guessing yours started life as a Tin Top and has been fitted with an 'After Market' lift up roof.

This ariel looks like a Tin Top one to me. :)

So it's a tintop with a tintop aerial and an aftermarket roof :). There is very little demand for that aerial (compared to the AFT) so you'd be lucky to find a new one in stock. I'm sure Ian could try to get one direct from Mazda or you may just have to contact some of the breakers to see if you can find a good used one.

No. Very different.

AFT is fitted above the B pillar and folds up and down on a pivot: http://lushprojects.com/bongopartsmk2/c ... mgno=.html

Tintop is fitted above the A pillar and retracts down inside (unless you're Blobber and don't use it enough to stop it seizing up :) )

If its leaking, you could consider putting some sealant on it or glue the damaged parts.

If you're anywhere near Bury, try this place who are breaking a late model tintop (not sure if there is much left of the drivers side to rescue the aerial): http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MAZDA-BONGO-2 ... 3cf45f595b

Here's a 2000 model being broken: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2000-w-mazda- ... 4ae627c6f0
