new awning needed. vango sapera anyone?

Post by lancyman » Sun Apr 05, 2015 1:51 pm

Hi all,

Our poor awning took a battering whilst away last week.
Think we need a new one. Liked the look of the airbeam sapera. Has anyone used one? Are they any good? Otherwise what's a good alternative?

Thanks.

hi
we have a vango airbeam kela 2 very well made and quick to put up and take down, not been tested in stormy weather yet, but it seems very sturdy with the tension band system in place.

Can't fault the Vango Kela, for 2 of us. The Sapera is huge, do you need something that big?

4 of us in our family. Has anyone had issues with them leaking?

Got flooded once, entirely my own fault. Read the instructions by the 'door' towards the front of the van. If you don't zip it up heavy rain will slosh over the sill into the awning. Otherwise bullet proof, very well made, no leaks and worth the money IMO.
