RAF Harrowbeer 1940's Week-end

Post by the janner vanner » Fri Aug 14, 2015 7:40 pm

I'm Sorry that this is at such very short notice, but I will be at Yelverton this Sunday parked in one of the bomb bays. So if you have nothing on this Sunday, we'll see you there. The event is the RAF Harrowbeer 1940's week-end, Vintage vehicles, Living history displays, Re-enactors etc...
At 11.20am there will be a fly pass by a BBAF Douglas 'Dakota'
Looking forward to seeing you there.

Hi Paramatt, so sorry we missed you, we got there around 11.15. Got held up by the misses shopping. These women just loose their sense of time. I spoke to two other Bongo owners. One who had his Bongo for five years and had never heard of the Owners club. asked if he wanted to join, he said I'm selling it. The other was in a white tintop, more or less said hello and that was that. I'm not disappointed at the turn out as it was a bit short in planning.
