Might be worth join the Facebook group 'campervan overnight parking' as there was advice on their about Teignmouth and Dawlish recently. I can't sort a link unfortunately

This was the question :
Any ideas for teignmouth please? We normally park on the sea front by the small skate park during the day but if anyone has anybody as for an over nighter that would be great.

And answer:
Opposite railway station free overnight but s bit noisy

And another answer:
Also map showing the back of the golf course

This is from memory, as the A38 and A380 split, at the top of the hill is a short road linking the two.

There was a picnic area/view point along there wich used to be OK for a night. Not been there for a good while, though.

Campsites by the ton in the area, too.

If you want a nice campsite, I'd recommend Dornafield which is under 10 miles from Teignmouth: http://www.dornafield.com/
