dont they all with the digital controls act weird, doesnt it depend on if its in the sun, or if the cabin is up to temp etc, etc.???
lean under the front heater fan under the bonet and check the heater pipes in and out, if they are very hot its down to the controllers of the heater.

Cheers ady I was thinking it may be something else as it was like it before I did coolant change,I thought it was maybe the stat but I've replaced that so I can rule that out.would it be the actual control panel inside the van I need to replace.

Probaly the fan resistor thing that controlls fan speed
Or fan full of water

If its the digital version and the fans ONLY blow when set to Max. then normally its the transistor blown, at the Max. setting a relay bypasses the transistor. They are replaceable see http://www.dalbani.co.uk/2sd1525-toshib ... 5-buy.html
Re: heater problem after coolant change
The fans blow ok it's the temperature I'm getting a problem with when I set it to max 32 degrees they are hot turn down 1 degree and they go cold.

if your bleeding it again take the extra time and back flush the heater matrix with a hose first

Don't you just love improvements to things which worked fine in the earlier version? I often yearn for a newer Bongo but apart from the smarter looking front I wonder if I would be buying into a new set of problems.

thats the little chappie thanks geoff. doesnt this do the cabin sensing, so if the cabin is hotter the preselected temp the unit wont give heat, it will actually try to cool it to the selected temp.
