Yes, we get a 'Free' day again this year.

Should Feb 29 be a free holiday, should we get an extra day's pay?

Would that not lead to getting paid less in Feb on the other years and also getting paid a different amount each month depending on if there are 30 or 31 days in it? Sounds like an admin nightmare.

Mind you it could work if we scrapped paid holidays and only got paid for the days we actually worked. I dont take much holiday in a year so would definitely prefer that!

Hi,

I think we should all work for free on Feb 29th. The money we would have been paid should be sent to Gideon so he could spend it on something really useful like a new calculator. I was thinking of proposing such a move on the HMG petitions website, but can't find anybody to second it.
Any volunteers, or shall I get my coat?
