Bunk ladder to reach roof bed?
Hi all. Does anyone use a ladder to access the AFT roof bed? I've got a shoulder injury so getting in and out of the roof space the usual way is painful. I was wondering if a bunk ladder would help solve that problem. Any thoughts?

That's a tricky one, obviously you can't have anything which hooks over the hatch edge in any way or it will stop the lid closing and a normal 2or 3 tread step ladder might have stability issues.

Yes, that's true. I'd be worried about the stability. The thing most upsetting to me about having a bad shoulder (never mind all the other stuff I can't do ) is not being able to climb up into the roof of my Bongo!

I've not tried this ladder inside yet, we got it for putting things on the roof rack, but it might be feasible, you could pull the ladder up into the AFT once up there as you collapse it, then extend it again to get down ?
