Swivel seats (F+P)

Post by Guru » Sun May 01, 2016 9:08 pm

Hello everyone,

I hope you are all well - Been offline for quite sometime....

I'm really interested in the swivel seats. Currently have an unconverted AFT but find that we lack space when away camping.

Can you use the front seats and the middle bench to sleep? Or is there a gap between the seats where the kiddy seat/foot stalls are?
I have seen some videos and pictures of the swivel seats but what isn't clear is whether the seats can still be moved forward and back on the rails.

Any help much appreciated as if I can sleep on these, I will remove the back seats and use for fridge etc :)

Cheers!

Yes, you can sleep on the fronts/middle.

We use some cut down 'Poundland' kneeling mats to fill and level for comfort, there's no gap between seats.

I believe the swivel mod still moves fore and aft, fitting at Stourport available.

Cheers Bob.

Good to hear from you again. How is your little place going since we met?

Did you take out your rear seats too?

Thanks for the Stourport rec - Is this the next bash?

I have the passenger swivel seat fitted.

It works just like normal when face forward and when reversed it can still be moved back and forward but be aware that the handle to pull is trickier to reach when sitting on the seat as it is now behind you. I normally set the seat up first and reverse it, with the door open it is very easy to slide it all the way back.

All well here, thanks. Stourport is the big National Meet in June, we have all seats still in place.

Don't often sleep in Bongy these days as we have a caravan for longer trips, Bongy is a great tow car and we do still use him for 'Overnighters' now and again.
