Recommendations for a garage?
Hello folks. I'm a newcomer to Bongoing...i've just bought my first one. However it looks like the seller saw me coming. I have the typical cylinder head problems and can't find a garage around me who wants to do the work. Does anyone know of somewhere around the North West/ North Cumbria who specialises in Bongo repairs? I'd hate to have to write her off before we have really had a chance to use her! Thanks

Oh dear.
Sorry to hear you have problems, but welcome aboard.
There's Whhelquick, in Wigan, Bongo Spares, Sowerby Bridge, and Mike's top man, Adrian, in Bury. I can't remember the name of his business, but someone will. Particularly Mike.

Got it in one Ben. All those are very good places. I like Adrian at Japandirect in Bury as i've always received prompt attention (well the Bongo has) and if its a day job i can nip up to the excellent Bury Market and have a wander and summat to eat.

Thanks Bill.
Just couldn't remember Adrian's business name.

Thanks for your responses! It turned out that one of my closest places was Bongo Barn near Hexham. So she has been delivered and is awaiting investigation. Fingers crossed that she is fixable and worth fixing!
