Top rubber for rear coil spring
Does anyone know where to source the rubber part that goes between the rear coil spring and the cup on the suspension mount? Getting a small bit of rust addressed and these rubbers are badly perished.

Re: Top rubber for rear coil spring
Nothing listed but might be worth calling Bongospares and Mazdabongo as they seem to have all the other suspension bits available ?
Re: Top rubber for rear coil spring
Bongospares can't get them new and all the old ones they come across are perished. Waiting on a response from Mazdabongo.com
Thanks

Re: Top rubber for rear coil spring
if you type rear spring mount on ebay there must be a similar mount out there
Re: Top rubber for rear coil spring
did you sort out this part you wanted
Re: Top rubber for rear coil spring
I did in the end - I got two from a breakers in the UK but they were only marginally better than the ones I had already so I suspect to need to replace them in the near future.
https://www.spaccer.com/ Will make a custom mount but involves raising the van slightly at least. These are pricey too.
I've actually sourced a perfect fit shock mount from a russian vehicle, which I bought on ebay through an instagram contact - I've just asked him now if he's any more to sell and will post the link if he does. These are a perfect fit but also raise the ride height slightly. These cost me about 45e including shipping for a pair. I've not installed them yet but I have a spare set of springs to measure against an they're perfect.

What Russian vehicle was it
Re: Top rubber for rear coil spring
They don't have it. There are loads of these type of sites, where they list all available part numbers and allow you to place an order. Once you do, they try to source the part and come back saying it's not available.

Here is the ebay link - I can confirm these fit perfectly. Shipping was slow enough though!Alkers wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 5:55 pm I did in the end - I got two from a breakers in the UK but they were only marginally better than the ones I had already so I suspect to need to replace them in the near future.

Re: Top rubber for rear coil spring
Having some made atm from mdpe for £75 it seems that the Kia sorento rear spring pads would be a perfect fit without the extra lift part no 55131-3E000
Re: Top rubber for rear coil spring
Did you try them for size? I ordered a load of various ones - they're typically only a couple of euros each but none were an exact fit. I can't recall if one was from a sorento, definitely a few santa fe etc.
Re: Top rubber for rear coil spring
was going to but having them made up so didnt pursue any further
Re: Top rubber for rear coil spring
Picked them up today and now axle is back in just a million other things to sort now
