yes mike, and its been a couple of weeks since i did it and its still as fresh as a daisy.

detoll air freshener is as cheap as chips too.

Your not wrong about the demisting value of aircon! :wink: It seems to help with the musty smell too... she was fully demisted in no time at all, good tip that :wink:

I think aircon in the UK is almost more useful for demisting than for cooling you down in the summer.

Since I very rarely feel the cold I have my air con on nearly every day, still get the musty smell but stick a sheet of bounce over the grill or vent, works a treat and smells great. Happy motoring.
