Fridge fitting - help!
Hi. We recently bought a N reg Bongo and although the back has been converted, we noticed the fridge wasn't flush with the rest of the cupboards. On further investigations we realised this was why (see pic). It is on the side directly behind the drivers seat. Does anyone know what this is for? Is it important? Can it be moved/removed? All advice will be helpful. Thank you

Re: Fridge fitting - help!
Yes its the rear air con system.
Its has hot coolant from the engine running thru the heating matrix and refrigerant pipes into the cooling matrix as well both sets come up from underneath the chassis.
In my old vehicle the fridge compressor was a separate module, so it was placed above the air con on its own platform with its pipes running to the fridge compartment. On my current vehicle the compressor is built in and yes it can't be slid back as far so stands out a fraction on a narrown conversion.
