Hi all,
So ive finally decided its time to change out the Japanese stereo for something that will give me more than R2
So, i've got the two plastic side panel parts off but dont really see any obvious places you'd slide removal keys into, or in my case a selection of thin screw drivers.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I did find this other post around the same issue, but not sure if i need to dig into removing bits like that describes if there should be proper removal key holes im meant to use?

Any pointers very much appreciated!
I'll likely have more follow up questions once i get it out but lets start here

The mech diagrams show the normal spring clips top and bottom each side http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsm ... 1of03.html

Thanks for that, gives a good view of whats there. So do you think I need to actually remove those side plates, or is there meant to be some way for me to unclip them to release it?g8dhe wrote: ↑Thu Sep 15, 2022 8:56 am The mech diagrams show the normal spring clips top and bottom each side http://www.lushprojects.com/bongopartsm ... 1of03.html

No use a release tool or small screwdrivers to press the spring bits in top and bottom each side parts 66-AC5.
