Market Rasen Racecourse

Post by Ian » Wed Mar 15, 2023 12:03 pm

There is very limited availability at this meeting (4 to 7 August). Booking Commences 23/03/23

The campsite run by the Jockey Club at Market Rasen is one of the few sites that will allow block bookings for clubs during the school summer holidays. We have been a few times and it is fantastic, even if you don’t like horse racing. We have 20 pitches available, all with electric hook up. A few more pitches may be acquired if there is demand.

You must book all 3 nights and the weekend fee is £93.

Sunday is raceday, specifically The Family Extravaganza. There are usually 7 National Hunt races. The discounted entrance fee to the Lawned Enclosure is not included in the weekend fee. You will be asked at the time of booking how many tickets you want, but payment is on the day.

Take up for this event has been poor. We have only sold 5 of our allocated 20 slots so far. Perhaps now the sun is out people will start thinking about summer trips...
